While the number of enemies may seem overwhelming they can be taken down fairly easily if you make use of your stealth takedown Quick Purge and if you keep the enemies separated. As you approach the three Gates you'll be forced to take on Rain Walkers, Students of Misery, and Paper Dolls. The Shiroyama Shrine area houses, not one but three Torii Gates that you'll be tasked with cleansing. Regardless, once you reach the Shiroyama Shrine you'll immediately notice that this area is significantly larger than the Namita and Akisawa Shrines.
Or if you'd rather stick to the critical path you can use your Glide to make your way from building to building which will limit the number of enemies you'll encounter before reaching the shrine. You can now continue towards the Shiroyama Shrine by jumping off the building with your Glide and if you'd like, you'll have the opportunity to find Collectibles or take on Side Quests along your journey. Defeat the enemies and cleanse the Torii Gate to clear out the fog surrounding the Shiroyama Shrine.īefore you leave the rooftops, search the Shrine to find some additional Katashiro and keep an eye out for Audio Log 4 that's located just to the left of the shrine. Once on the roof, you'll find some spirits to absorb and you can begin building-hop towards the Torii Gate which is made easier by the learning of a Glide mechanic that can be used by holding X while in mid-air.īe careful as you get closer to the shrine as several Wanderers will be hovering nearby ready to send some mystical ghost attacks your way.
Hold L2 to aim at the Tengu and press X to grapple to the top of the building.
Tengus can be found scattered throughout Shibuya and they'll appear on your map in the form of a double circle target-like icon. Tengus are helpful spirits that you can grapple towards to quickly reach elevated areas.
